Kojaycat Terms and Conditions of Sale – Rev3 Feb 2010
- PAYMENTS
- Kojaycat only accept Paypal and Postal Orders from UK Post Offices.
- For international purchases we only accept Paypal payments.
- We do not accept International currency or money orders as payments.
- All payments must be made in full before any items will be sent.
- POSTAGE
- The postage for packages of over 2.0kg are priced with overnight courier to UK Mainland destinations.
- Royal Mail deliveries over 2.0kg will be subject to other charges do to the higher rates they charge for postage.
- For areas outside of the UK main postcodes Eg. Highlands and Islands of Scotland, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and Irish Republic, and Channel Islands please contact us for a postage quote before purchase.
- Certain geographical areas can’t receive a next day delivery, please check with us before ordering. Examples are Scottish Highlands and Islands etc.
- If the item or items that you have purchased have a combined total weight of under 1.950kg then the package will be sent to you by Royal Mail 1 st class standard or 1 st class recorded unless you request a courier delivery.
- If the item or items have a combined postage weight of over 1.250kg then the item or items will be sent by our courier service on a next working day delivery or by Royal Mail Depending on the value.
- The courier will require a signature at the point of delivery. Please make sure that you or someone in the household is there to receive the package. You can send us “Special Instructions” on where the package can be left. This can either be with a neighbour or left in a secure place, but this information must be supplied at the time of the order as we cannot change the destination after parcel has been sent. Failing delivery, the driver will leave a card, with details to arrange a redelivery or a pick up from the local depot. The courier company will only hold the package for 5 days, if you do not contact them or pick the package up from them they will return to parcel to us. This incurs costs charged to us directly by Business Post of £21.50 per parcel.
- If your package is sent via courier and you fail to arrange a redelivery or pick up from the depot and your parcel is then returned to us then a £21.50 plus the redelivery cost will become due in full before the parcel is posted again.
- If you don’t want us to post your package by courier then please contact us directly before you make any payments for a postage cost as this will be more due to Royal Mail higher prices.
- To qualify for a next working day delivery you need to place your order before 1:00pm on Monday to Thursday, if the order arrives after 1pm then it may be the next day before your order is dispatched. If you order after 1.00pm on Thursday then your order will arrive on Monday unless there is a Public or Bank holiday, then the order will arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday.
- Kojaycat always send a confirmation email to notify you of your items dispatch. We aim to post your item within 24hrs of receipt of cleared payment. Please check your message inbox if you haven’t received your item. If you haven’t received you item within a two days after your purchase please check that you have sent us an email confirming colour choices / lengths for cable purchases or the Model, Year and Spec if you have purchased a wiring diagram.
- Kojaycat only post on weekdays Monday – Friday. If your order is received after 1.00pm on a Friday then it may not be processed until the following Monday. We do not post over Bank Holiday weekends. If you buy an item over a bank holiday weekend then your item will not be posted until the first working day after (Tuesday).
- For items sent by Royal Mail that have not been received please contact us directly through email. Royal Mail doesn’t class postage missing until 15 working days after the posting date.
- It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery address is supplied to Kojaycat. Any costs incurred due to delivery error to an incorrect address will be passed to the buyer before re-delivery to the correct address.

Industrial disputes by Royal Mail staff will delay deliveries. We are not responsible for any delays once your purchase has been passed to Royal Mail or any courier that we may use.
- VAT
We are a UK VAT registered company. We charge VAT on purchases made from the United KIngdom and member countries of th European Union at the current rate of 17.5%. - For purchases made from outside of the EU VAT is not payable. If you purchase from outside of the EU emails us your order as the E-Com software isn't set up for a sale without charging the VAT.
RETURNS
- If you are unhappy with your purchase please inform us in writing with-in 7 working days of receipt. We will only return the postage costs if your item or items are defective, or in the unlikely event that we have sent the incorrect part or parts. If you decide that you don’t require the item or items then refunds less postage costs will only be paid if:
- You contact us in writing with-in 7 working days of receipt
- The item or items are in the original packaging and in a unused condition.
- The item or items are returned to us using a signed for delivery as we will not issue refunds on items lost in the post if you are returning it to us.
- All of our cable reels are weighed before dispatch, on return the cable reel must be the same weight on return and still be factory sealed.
- CUT CABLE & CUSTOM MADE CABLES
- This is a bespoke service and once the cable has been cut then no returns or order cancellations will be accepted.
- Cut & Custom made cables is not covered under the distance selling regulations

- When sending your payment please send us the following information:
- The colours and lengths of the required cable.
- A contact telephone number for the courier to contact regarding the delivery
- Kojaycat only sell full cable reels or cable cut lengths suitable for Automotive purposes and some Marine applications.
- We do not supply cable for Aeronautical or Aerospace applications, all of our cable is manufactured and sourced from other companies for automotive purposes only.
- COLOUR WIRING DIAGRAM SALES
- Kojaycat own all copyright and intellectual property rights of all of our colour wiring diagrams.
- The diagram or any part of the diagram purchased from us may not be reproduced, electronically stored or transmitted in any form without our express permission.
- Kojaycat try to make sure that all of our diagrams are as accurate as possible. We accept no responsibility for any mistakes, omissions or errors made when drawing the diagram,
- Our drawings are designed to be used in conjunction with the factory drawing and therefore we accept no responsibility for any damage caused by incorrect wiring by the machine owner or mechanic.
- These drawings are for reference only and are designed to be used as an aid to help identify the cable colours and routes from a Black & White factory wiring diagram.
- When sending your payment please send us the following information:
- Model
- Year
- Specification – UK, Euro or USA.
- OUT OF STOCK PARTS
- Kojaycat keep a stock of all of our parts that we sell. In the unlikely event that you order an item that we don’t have in stock we will contact you to let you know. We will either put the item on back order or we will offer you a full refund.
